The story of Ardmore begins thirty nine years ago when in 1985 Fée Halsted started on a journey teaching ceramics to a talented group of rural people on a farm in a remote corner of the Kwazulu-Natal province, South Africa.

How does Ardmore ensure the safe delivery of the artworks?

Our packing team uses a combination of tissue paper, butcher paper and bubble wrap, carefully wrapping individual parts and accessories to protect each unique piece during shipping.

The artwork is then placed in its packaging and held firmly in a cocoon of expanding foam.

We prioritise the artwork's safety to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

What should I expect during the unboxing experience?

Expect a delightful unboxing experience, as Ardmore packages their items with care and attention. The process of unwrapping your new Ardmore piece is designed to be enjoyable, reflecting the beauty and uniqueness of the item inside.

How does Ardmore handle taxes for international orders?

For orders shipping outside of South Africa, please be aware that our prices do not include local import duties or taxes, which vary from country to country.

These additional costs, if applicable, will be the sole responsibility of the customer and may be charged at the time of delivery.

How long does shipping take?

Upon receipt of your order, we aim to process it as quickly as possible. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to prepare your order for shipment.

Following dispatch, delivery times will vary depending on your location. You will be provided with tracking information so you can monitor your package’s progress from our hands to yours.

For South African orders you can expect delivery within 7-10 working days.

For international orders you can expect delivery within 10-14 working days. Please budget additional time in the case of your home country's customs delaying the delivery.
