Porcupine and Pangolin Vase ‘Voyages of Discovery’ Collection 2018

Thabo Mbhele, George Manyathela and Elvis Mkhize have created a fabulously textured, elegant balloon shaped vessel depicting the pangolin and porcupine, two rare and interesting African creatures. Elvis has selected the porcupine's graphic black and white quill patterns to contrast off the white pangolin textured scales that blend and are hidden into the white form. Elvis has successfully rendered sophistication and elegance to this wonderful work of art.
