Leopard Urn

Leopard Savuti Sculpture In celebration of the Ardmore, ‘Leopard Walk’ mosaic-like, Cole & Son wallpaper, we have created a dancing leopard tureen to accompany this lighter colourway. Sfiso Mvelase is known for his sculptural pieces, that bring a bit of fun and humour. Here, we can’t help but smile at the way the leopards embrace. Ayanda Meseku has captured the brilliant spottiness of the wallpaper design on the leopard sculpture. He has contrasted the two leopards in a light, lime yellow and blue, ashy grey. Both wallpaper and ceramic artwork also remind us of an Egyptian pharoah's staff in the way they curl back. This piece is a visual feast for the eyes!
